The coach of the Kyrgyzstan national team spoke out about the referee of the match against Saudi Arabia.
The event took place on January 6 in Jeddah as part of the first round of the group stage of the Youth Asian Cup, and ended with a victory for the hosts with a score of 1:0.
Referee Fu Ming from China made several controversial decisions: he sent off a player from the Kyrgyzstan team in the 35th minute and awarded a penalty against them in the 77th minute.
At the press conference after the match, Lacerda spoke about his impressions of the referee's performance.
“I never doubt my abilities and those of our team, however, there were moments in the referee's actions that raised questions. We will focus on the next game,” he noted.
Fu Ming became known to the fans of the Kyrgyzstan national team after the 2019 Asian Cup when he officiated the Round of 16 match against the UAE team, where he also made a name for himself in the context of controversial decisions.
