Asian Cup (U-23): Today, the Kyrgyzstan national team will play against Vietnam

Today, January 9, the youth national team of Kyrgyzstan (U-23) will play its second match at the Asian Cup taking place in Saudi Arabia.

In the second round of the group stage, the Kyrgyz team will face the team from Vietnam.

The match will be held in Jeddah and will start at 20:00 Bishkek time.

In their first match on January 6, the Kyrgyz team suffered a defeat against the national team of Saudi Arabia with a narrow score of 0:1, while Vietnam secured a victory over Jordan (0:1).

At the youth level, the teams of Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam have met twice. In 2014 at the Asian Games, the Vietnamese won with a score of 1:0, while in 2023 at the tournament in Qatar, the Kyrgyz team won in a penalty shootout.
