AFC U-23 Cup: Jordan Keeps Kyrgyzstan's Hopes Alive for Playoff Qualification

The Kyrgyzstan national football team (U-23) has not yet lost its chances of advancing to the playoffs of the Asian Youth Cup.

After the first two matches of the group stage under the guidance of Edmar Lacerda, the team has earned 0 points, suffering defeats against Saudi Arabia (0:1) and Vietnam (1:2).

In another match of the second round, Jordan defeated Saudi Arabia with a score of 3:2, giving the Kyrgyz team the opportunity to continue fighting for a place in the next round.

For a successful conclusion to the tournament, the Kyrgyzstan team needs to achieve a significant victory over Jordan in the final match, as well as hope for a defeat of Saudi Arabia by Vietnam.

The final matches of the group stage will take place on January 12.
