According to information provided by the Batken Electric Networks, as part of the Ministry of Energy's program for the modernization and renewal of energy infrastructure, the branch of OJSC "NESK" - Batken Electric Networks has carried out major repairs of substations. This initiative aims to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the population during the autumn-winter period of 2026-2027.
In particular, work was completed on the 35/10 kV substations "Kara-Tokoy-2", 35/10 kV "Ak-Turpak", and 35/6 kV "Shirech". During the repairs, transformers underwent a complete technical inspection, and outdated equipment was replaced. To enhance the reliability of power supply, the relay protection and automation systems were also checked and repaired.
Additionally, sanitary cleaning works were carried out on the territories of the substations, and the facilities were brought into compliance with safety regulations. All necessary technical requirements for the safe operation of the equipment were met.
The results of the major repairs create conditions for the stable operation of electrical networks, which, in turn, helps reduce the number of emergency outages and guarantees consumers quality power supply.
