This was reported by Ernis Teltaev, head of the regional branch of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver's Licenses under the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“The activity of residents within this initiative was significant. A total of 8,013 citizens updated their licenses. Of these, 7,388 people received new licenses, while 276 exchanged lost documents. The process of exchanging old licenses is still ongoing,” Teltaev noted.
Additionally, since the beginning of the year, 15,025 driver's licenses have been issued in the region. Of these, 13,499 citizens exchanged their documents, while 629 people submitted applications for lost licenses. It is important to note that 9,507 citizens used the app for online registration.
