As part of his working trip, the Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, visited the Center for General Medical Practice in the Issyk-Kul region. He familiarized himself with the work of the medical institution and the construction of a new building.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, Osmonov inspected the recently renovated intensive care unit and evaluated the equipment of the ambulance service. It was noted that there is a sufficient number of ambulances available to serve the local population.

During the visit, the center's management raised the issue of a shortage of medical personnel. The minister emphasized the importance of a systematic approach to strengthening the human resources potential and instructed the responsible departments of the ministry to work together with local authorities on measures to attract and retain medical specialists in the region, including improving working and living conditions for healthcare workers.

Earlier, officials at the Kemin Central Outpatient Clinic complained about the lack of staff. This same issue was discussed during the analysis of the state of the intensive care service.
