
The report was presented by Zhyldyz Derkembaeva, the chief freelance specialist in anesthesiology and resuscitation, who holds a PhD in medical sciences and serves as an associate professor. She presented key performance indicators of the service, addressed issues of staffing and the state of technical equipment in medical institutions, and highlighted the main problems faced by specialists.
Minister of Health Damir Osmonov noted that the development of the anesthesiology-resuscitation service is a top priority in the healthcare system, as it is responsible for treating the most critically ill patients and supports the operation of surgical departments.

At the end of the meeting, the minister outlined a number of directives for the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health:
- to conduct a comprehensive analysis of staffing in the anesthesiology-resuscitation service in the regions and prepare proposals to enhance training and retraining of personnel;
- to ensure control over the effective use of high technologies in medical institutions;
- to strengthen monitoring of the work of resuscitation and intensive care units.
