New Composition of the Council of Ulema of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan Elected

The Kurultai gathered 220 delegates from different corners of the country
At the IX Kurultai of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, a new composition of the Council of Ulema was elected, which now includes 25 members instead of the previous 21. Zamir Kary Raekiev was re-elected as the chairman of the council, receiving unanimous support from the participants. This information was confirmed by the muftiate.
The event was attended by 220 delegates from all regions of the country, as well as representatives from the presidential administration and the state agency for religious affairs, led by Azamat Yusupov, Mufti Abdulaziz Kary Zakirov, and other religious leaders.
The composition of the new Council of Ulema is as follows:
