In the Talas region, the pawnshop "Orozaly" has decided to return property that was illegally seized from citizens. This information was announced by the State Committee for National Security.
Inspections conducted by the State Committee for National Security in cooperation with the Talas City State Tax Service, the National Bank of the Talas Region, and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service confirmed violations by the pawnshop. As a result of these activities, the organization acknowledged the validity of the claims made against it.
According to the information received, a residential house located in the Talas district was returned to its former owner, S.U.U. Additionally, documents for real estate that was previously used as collateral were returned to 10 citizens.
Furthermore, the management of the pawnshop announced its intention to compensate borrowers for excess interest charged above 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024. Interested citizens can contact the appropriate authorities to resolve their issues.
The pawnshop "Orozaly" expressed its apologies to the affected individuals and assured that it will act strictly in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
