In Talas, a pawnshop returned illegally seized real estate to citizens

In the Talas region, thanks to the joint efforts of the State National Security Committee, the State Tax Service, the National Bank, and the Antimonopoly Regulation Service, the pawnshop "Orozaly" agreed to return real estate to citizens that was illegally seized. This decision was made after the pawnshop acknowledged the validity of the claims against it and the identified violations of the law.

In particular, a residential house was returned to its owner S.U.U., and 10 citizens received back the documents for their real estate that had previously been pledged.

Additionally, the management of the pawnshop announced its intention to compensate borrowers for excessively charged interest exceeding 30% per annum, starting from the summer of 2024 and up to the present time. Citizens can contact the pawnshop to resolve these issues in accordance with established procedures.

The organization apologized to those who suffered from its actions and confirmed its commitment to comply with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the future.
