Road maintenance workers are actively engaged in clearing the roads of snow, spreading anti-icing materials, and removing snowdrifts.
However, it should be noted that on certain days, there is an increased likelihood of avalanches:
- from February 23 to 28 on the 198-255 km stretch of the Bishkek — Osh highway: the Otmok section, Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge;
- from February 23 to 26 on the 294-297 km stretch of the Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart route: Dolon pass, Kara-Unkur gorge.
In this regard, avalanche control measures will be carried out during the specified periods.
