Today, at 12:10, two snow avalanches occurred in the Chychkan Gorge on the Bishkek–Osh highway. This information was provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to the agency, the Bishkek–Osh road is currently closed to all vehicles at the checkpoints "Sosnovka" and "Aral".
Preliminary data indicates that the avalanche that descended onto the road is approximately 100 meters long and up to 5 meters high.
The road clearing work is being carried out by Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 23 with the involvement of special equipment. The clearing process is ongoing.
