According to the agency's data, heavy precipitation has been observed since February 11 of this year, resulting in avalanches on the roads Aala-Buka—Zhany-Bazar—Kirovka and Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash, which led to temporary traffic blockages.
More than 10 units of special equipment provided by the rural district of Kanysh-Kiya, as well as companies OsOO "Zhagalmai," OsOO "Full Gold Mining," and road maintenance enterprise No. 27, have been involved in clearing the snowdrifts. Work on road clearance and ensuring safety is ongoing.
Due to the worsening weather conditions, educational institutions in the district have switched to remote learning. Heavy snowfall has also caused power outages in some villages, and local power networks are conducting restoration work. Additionally, an emergency team will be dispatched after road communication is restored.
Due to the accumulated snow, the roof of one residential building was damaged, and the roofs of two livestock barns collapsed. There are no casualties among people, and there is no damage to livestock.
Heavy snowfall is also observed in the Toguz-Toro district, where in some villages the snow cover has reached one meter. Following the completed work, access to all populated areas has been restored, and educational institutions have transitioned to an online format.
Avalanches have also been registered on certain sections of the alternative North-South highway, which has temporarily closed the road and established checkpoints. Traffic restrictions have also been imposed on the section of the road adjacent to the Jumgal district of the Naryn region. No power outages have been recorded in this area.
The president's representative in the Jalal-Abad region, Tilek Tekebaev, has taken control of the situation and instructed the relevant services for a prompt response.
