During the meeting of the committee on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction, Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Bakyt Chomoev raised the issue of the need to create an underground pedestrian crossing on the Bishkek–Kara-Balta road. He noted that there is a school in the area, and due to the intense traffic, cases of accidents involving students have increased.
In response, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev reported that the construction of the underground crossing at the 28th kilometer has already been included in the title list of works for the current year, with allocated funding amounting to 10 million soms.
