On the second day of the competition, Nursultan Kenesbekov finished in second place in the 3000 meters race, clocking a time of 7:55.06. His compatriot Jusup Sulayman uulu completed the same race in fifth place with a result of 8:23.71.
Also at the championship, Iskender Chokaev achieved the 10th result in the 800 meters race with a final time of 1:56.83, while Ruslan Litovsky took 14th place in the 400 meters, finishing in 49.57 seconds.
Kenesbekov's achievement became the best result for the Kyrgyzstan team at this tournament and earned the country a silver medal at the continental championship.
