The 1500 meters race started on February 6, where two representatives from Kyrgyzstan took to the distance.
In the preliminary heats, Keneshbekov recorded a time of 3 minutes 50 seconds, which allowed him to confidently advance to the final. His compatriot Jusup Sulayman uulu also joined him at this stage.
The final for the 1500 meters took place on February 8, where Keneshbekov finished with a time of 3 minutes 44.75 seconds, earning him a silver medal and 2nd place. Sulayman uulu completed the race in 8th position, with a result of 3 minutes 54.02 seconds.
Additionally, on February 7, Keneshbekov also won silver in the 3000 meters, finishing in 2nd place.
