Nursultan Keneshbekov won two medals at the Asian Championship

At the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships in China, Nursultan Keneshbekov from Kyrgyzstan won two medals.

The competitions took place in Tianjin from February 6 to 8.

Five athletes represented the Kyrgyzstan team, led by Satybek Chokaev, and all of them managed to bring home two medals.

Both awards were won by Nursultan Keneshbekov.

On February 6, the preliminary heats for the 1500 meters were held, where the Kyrgyz athlete took first place in his heat with a time of 3 minutes 50 seconds.

This result was the best among all participants in the qualifying heats, allowing Keneshbekov to advance to the final with the best time.
On the following day, February 7, Keneshbekov participated in the final for the 3000 meters, where he finished second, recording a time of 7 minutes 55.06 seconds, which earned him a silver medal.
On February 8, the final race for the 1500 meters took place, where Keneshbekov again finished second and became the silver medalist. His time was 3 minutes 44.75 seconds, which was one second longer than the winner's result from Qatar.
