According to Torobaev, plans include the repair and cleaning of 776 kilometers of canals, as well as the concreting of 657 thousand kilometers of waterways. Additionally, work is planned for the restoration of several pumping stations and the cleaning of 225 kilometers of collector-drainage systems.
The minister added that to date, 15,051 wells have been registered, of which 308 have been inspected. This year, it is planned to put 83 new wells into operation. Kyrgyzstan has 498 reservoirs with a total water volume of 884 million cubic meters, which is 35 percent less than in 2025.
