A user contacted the Call Center of Kaktus.media with a question about replacing indefinite driving licenses.

He noted: "My driving license, issued in the 2000s, lists categories B and C. I'm curious if subcategories B1 and C1 will be automatically added, or will I need to take additional exams? According to the old rules (point 36), which are no longer in effect, these categories could have been added."

The editorial team sent a request to the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing under the Presidential Administration.

In the response from the state center, it was indicated that the new license would retain the same categories as the old one.

The press service added that to obtain subcategories B1 and C1, the reader would need to pass exams.
