More than 1,500 volunteers will be involved in the VI World Nomad Games
As part of the preparations for the VI World Nomad Games, it is planned to involve more than 1,500 volunteers, as reported by Nursultan Adenov, who heads the international secretariat of the WNG.
According to Adenov, the volunteers will be divided into two key groups. The first group includes about 600 people who will be part of the organizational team. The second group, consisting of approximately 1,000 people, will participate in the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as in mass performances.
“Each of the 600 volunteers in the organizational group will perform specific tasks. They will be assistants at the sports venues, volunteer attachés, and responsible for various events and logistics,” Adenov explained.
The selection of volunteers will begin at the end of February, with a primary focus on finding candidates in universities in collaboration with the organizing committee of the Games.
The head of the international secretariat also noted that one of the main requirements for candidates is knowledge of foreign languages, which makes university students priority candidates.
“Volunteers are the people who meet guests first. Their appearance, manner of communication, and openness shape the first impression not only of the event but also of the country as a whole,” he added.

Adenov emphasized that special attention will be paid to young people during the selection process, who are capable of effectively communicating about the republic and the Nomad Games, as well as possessing critical thinking and resilience to stress.
After the selection of volunteers is completed, training will be provided, along with the issuance of uniforms.
