Bishkek Prepares for the Ice Hockey World Championship

In Bishkek, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, visited the sports complex "Alga," where he familiarized himself with the training process of the national team of Kyrgyzstan, which is preparing for the World Ice Hockey Championship. The press service of the state agency shared this information.

The competition among U-20 youth teams (IIHF Division III-B) will take place in the capital of the country from January 18 to 24 at the ice arena "Bishkek Arena."

Six countries will participate in the tournament: Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, Luxembourg, South Africa, Iran, and Hong Kong.

Kazybek Moldazhiyev spoke with the players, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating a high level of skill in each match and the pursuit of victory.

Additionally, during a meeting with Urmat Asanbaev, head of the "Zhashtyk" Directorate for Olympic Sports, vice president of the Ice Hockey Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic Elzar Bolotbekov, and head coach of the national team Alexey Hakalo, the current preparations for the championship were discussed.
