Four citizens of Kyrgyzstan were deported from Mongolia

At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on judicial and legal issues, law enforcement, combating crime, and countering corruption, Deputy Attorney General Ümütkan Konkubayeva reported on the deportation of four citizens of Kyrgyzstan from Mongolia.
The Committee also discussed a draft law concerning the ratification of the Extradition Treaty between the Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia, which was signed on July 21, 2025, in Bishkek. This document creates the necessary legal framework for the extradition of criminals so they can serve their sentences in their homeland.

Deputy Suyun Omurzakov inquired about how many criminal cases had been initiated against citizens of Kyrgyzstan. In response, Konkubayeva noted that there had only been one case, which was subsequently closed due to lack of evidence of a crime. Additionally, she pointed out that the four citizens were deported for administrative reasons.

Omurzakov also mentioned a case where a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was robbed in Mongolia and urged the General Prosecutor's Office to pay attention to such incidents. The Deputy Attorney General assured that the new treaty would allow for a more thorough examination of such situations.
