In Bishkek, the city hall denied rumors circulating on social media about relocating the nursing home located on Abay Street outside the city and handing over its territory to developers.
As representatives of the city hall told AKIpress in an interview, the institution "Үмүт үйү," intended for elderly people and individuals with disabilities, is municipal and funded from the local budget. It will continue its operations as usual.

The city hall emphasized: "The issue of relocating or transferring the land plot is not on the municipal agenda."

Recall that earlier there was a fire in the palliative care ward of the nursing home, resulting in the deaths of two people.
