The youth team of Kyrgyzstan lost to Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup


As part of the Asian Cup, the youth team of Kyrgyzstan played against the team of Saudi Arabia and finished the match with a loss. This information was confirmed by the Kyrgyz Football Union.

The game ended with a score of 0:1, with the only goal scored in the 88th minute.

In the 34th minute of the match, the main referee Fu Ming, using the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, sent off Kyrgyzstan player Arsen Sharshenbekov, leaving the team with one player less.

The next match for the Kyrgyz team will take place on January 9, where they will face the Vietnam national team.

The Asian Cup is being held in Saudi Arabia and features 16 youth teams divided into four groups. The two teams with the best results from each group advance to the playoffs.
