Match Review: Kyrgyzstan - Saudi Arabia at the Asian Cup (U-23)

In their first match at the Asian Youth Cup, the Kyrgyzstan U-23 team suffered a defeat against the Saudi Arabian team while playing on their home turf.

The match, which took place as part of the first round of the group stage, was not an easy one for the Kyrgyz players.

In the 35th minute, the referee from China, Fu Ming, after consulting VAR, made the decision to send off Arsen Sharshenbekov. Later, in the 77th minute, he awarded a penalty against the Kyrgyzstan team.

Goalkeeper Kurmanbek Nurlanbekov managed to save the penalty kick, but in the 88th minute, the Saudi Arabian team scored the only goal, securing their victory.
