The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported that currently there are no cases of Nipah virus infection recorded in the country. The epidemiological situation remains under close monitoring by sanitary and epidemiological services.

To reduce the risk of possible importation of the infection at the border of the Kyrgyz Republic, additional measures for sanitary and quarantine control have been implemented.

Sanitary control staff monitor the health status of individuals arriving in the country, as well as inspect vehicles and carry out preventive measures in accordance with established norms.

Medical institutions have received instructions on organizing early detection of cases, isolating patients, and conducting anti-epidemic actions.

In addition, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic maintains ongoing cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international partners to exchange information on the epidemiological situation and coordinate preventive measures.
