As of January 1, 2025, the population of Kyrgyzstan is 7,281.8 thousand people, according to data on population numbers, taking into account the administrative-territorial reform.

This data was published by the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the committee, the urban population is 3,037.3 thousand, while the rural population is 4,244.5 thousand.

The total resident population currently stands at 6,607.1 thousand (urban — 3,000.7 thousand, rural — 3,606.4 thousand).
