The changes are aimed at improving the conditions of trade relations in the EAEU and clarify how cargo control will be carried out on the territory of the country.
According to the new rules:
- The State Customs Service and the State Tax Service are now directly subordinate to the Cabinet of Ministers;
- Specific locations for the installation and removal of navigation seals during the movement of goods have been defined.
In particular, for road transport, the seal installation points are located near the checkpoints on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border: "Chaldovar," "Ak-Zhol," "Ak-Tilek," "Chon-Kapka," and "Karkyra."
As for rail transport, the installation and removal of seals will take place at stations such as "Bishkek-1," "Alamedin," "Balikchy," "Kara-Balta," "Kant," and "Tokmok."
The removal of seals for road transport will occur at the recipient's location, while for rail cargo, it will take place at the specified stations at unloading points.
The new provisions will come into effect in a week.
