The State Tax Service reminded about the introduction of navigation seals for carriers

According to information provided by the State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, mandatory implementation of navigation seals for controlling the transportation of certain goods within the EAEU countries will begin on February 11, 2026.

In the first stage, seals will be mandatory for road and rail transportation of alcoholic products and tobacco products, as well as for goods subject to special economic measures.

In Kyrgyzstan, navigation seals will be installed at points of goods accounting located near the border with Kazakhstan, such as Chaldybar, Ak-Jol, Ak-Tilek, Chon-Kapka, and Karkyra. For rail transportation, seals will be installed at stations including Bishkek-1, Alamedin, Rybachye, Kara-Balta, Kainy, Belovodskaya, Shopokovo, Kant, and Tokmak.

Seals for road transportation will be removed at the recipient's location, while for rail transportation, this will occur during unloading at the specified stations.

Carriers, senders, and freight forwarders must provide the necessary data to the State Tax Service via email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) no later than six hours before arriving at the location where the seal will be installed. A complete list of the required data and the procedure for interacting with the tax service and the national operator can be found on the official website in the "Knowledge Base" section and "Navigation Seals within the EAEU".

The responsibility for the accuracy of the provided information and its compliance with the actually transported goods lies with the participants in foreign economic activity. For questions regarding payment for services and tariffs, you can contact the national operator JSC "State Customs Infrastructure" through the website gti.kg. Additional information can be obtained by calling the State Tax Service call center at 116 or by phone at 0 (312) 62-21-07.

These new rules are being introduced in accordance with the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission and within the framework of the EAEU Agreement on the use of navigation seals.
