As of February 11, cargo transportation within the EAEU is subject to mandatory tracking
According to information provided by the State Tax Service, a mandatory cargo tracking system using navigation seals is being introduced in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
At the first stage, this measure will apply to the road and rail transportation of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, as well as goods subject to special economic measures within the EAEU.
The installation of navigation seals for road transport will take place at cargo accounting points on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border, such as Chaldybar, Ak-Zhol, Ak-Tilek, Chon-Kapka, and Karkyra. For rail transport, seals will be installed at the stations of Bishkek-1, Alamedin, Rybachye, Kara-Balta, Kainy, Belovodskaya, Shopokovo, Kant, and Tokmak.
The removal of seals for road transport will occur at the cargo recipient's location, while for rail transport, it will take place during the unloading of wagons at the specified stations.
All carriers, shippers, or freight forwarders are required to send all necessary data to the State Tax Service no later than six hours before the cargo's arrival via email [url=http://vesti.kg/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#57273b383a353679323632241724363b2e3c793c3079]Email address protected from spam bots. The introduction of new requirements has been made possible by the decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the EAEU Agreement on the use of navigation seals.
