In an interview with the AKIpress agency, the chairman of the GKNB, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov, shared information about the self-cleaning processes in the national security agencies aimed at eliminating dishonest employees.
As a result of internal investigations conducted by the security service, strict administrative and disciplinary measures were taken against nearly one hundred employees.
“As a result, 7 people were completely dismissed, and 83 others were removed from their positions and transferred to reserve. At the same time, the overwhelming majority, about 99% of GKNB employees, diligently fulfill their duties. However, as in any organization, there may be cases of serious violations by individual workers. We are currently engaged in identifying and eliminating such dishonest elements,” he noted.
