“I am ready to work tirelessly” — this is how the new mayor of Osh, Janar Akayev, characterized his appointment while commenting on his conversation with President Sadyr Japarov.
“I immediately agreed to this position, as my student years were spent here, and I know the city well. This is a decision from the leadership, and I understand the full responsibility. Zhenishbek Toktorbaev worked tirelessly, and we will continue all his successful projects as much as possible,” he added.
According to him, the day before, they discussed many issues related to Osh and its development with the head of state.
“The president emphasized that we must work with integrity. He set this task for me. We will strive to justify the trust placed in us by acting openly and transparently, and creating comfortable conditions for the residents of the city,” assured Janar Akayev.
