Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, who previously held the position of speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, announced his early resignation from his deputy powers through a social media post.
He noted that recently there has been a lot of false information about his activities circulating in political circles.
The deputy emphasized that he has no connection to intrigues, including appeals from a group of seventy-five veterans and the collection of signatures.
According to him, his deteriorating health was the reason for his decision to leave politics to focus on treatment and personal matters, as well as to resign his deputy mandate. "To be honest, I have been undergoing treatment, and this was the main factor in my decision," he added.
