
Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, the former speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh, announced that he is resigning from his position as a deputy. He published the corresponding statement on his social media page.
He also congratulated his compatriots on the beginning of the holy month of Orozo and denied the rumors circulating about him.
“In this holy month of Orozo, I want to emphasize that I have not been involved in any intrigues. The letter that caused public resonance appeared during my trip abroad, and I only learned about it afterward,” he explained.
As for his decision to resign from his mandate, he stated that it is related to a deterioration in his health.
- Recently, I have faced health issues. Therefore, I decided to leave politics to focus on treatment and personal matters, - he noted.
