The First Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing, Zhanibek Kerimaliev, previously emphasized that the implementation of this project involves the allocation of a loan of 30 million dollars and a grant of 1.79 million dollars from donors.
“This project represents an ambitious initiative aimed at improving the health of people and animals, as well as caring for the environment. The first phase includes three key components designed to ensure the sustainability of the system under normal conditions and to maintain critical functions for detecting and responding to emergencies within the framework of the regional "One Health" program concept. This underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to addressing global health issues,” added Zhanibek Kerimaliev.
Among the priority areas of the program are combating zoonotic infections, preventing antimicrobial resistance, and ensuring food safety.
