Timur Shabdanbekov is no longer holding this position, and his place has been taken by Akylbek Namazov.
Namazov previously served as Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service since March 12, 2025.
He was born on April 3, 1971, and has an impressive educational background: in 1997, he graduated from the Kyrgyz State Institute of Physical Education with a degree in "Military Service and Physical Education," and then, in 2003, he obtained a diploma from the Academy of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation in "Operational Activities of Security Agencies." In 2013, he graduated from the Kyrgyz National University with a degree in "Law."
As for his professional experience, it includes a number of significant positions.
It should be noted that following the resignation of the former head of the GKNB, Kamchybek Tashiev, several of his deputies have already been relieved of their duties.
