The agreement was signed between Kyrgyzstan and the OPEC Fund for International Development on September 22, 2025.
As previously reported in sources, under this agreement, Kyrgyzstan will receive $30 million as budget support at an interest rate of 1.25% for a term of 20 years, including a grace period of five years.
These funds will be provided to JSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" in the form of a budget loan for eight years at an annual interest rate of 1%, with the first four years being a grace period.
