The Prime Minister initiated this draft law. The information about it was presented by Eldar Sulaymanov, who heads the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The project's goal is to improve access to safe water and sanitation in 126 settlements located in the Osh, Chui, and Issyk-Kul regions. The total cost of the program is 200 million dollars, of which 20 million dollars will be allocated by the OPEC Fund for International Development.
The loan conditions are as follows:
- The loan term is 20 years;
- The grace period is 5 years;
- The interest rate is 1.25% per annum.
