Askhat Alagozov: Vladimir Solovyov's Statements are "Empty and Irrelevant"
The press secretary of the president commented on the words of the TV host
Askat Alagozov, the press secretary of President Sadyr Japarov, characterized the statements of TV host Vladimir Solovyov as "empty and unserious." This statement was made in response to Solovyov's comments regarding the conduct of a special military operation in Russia's spheres of influence.
Alagozov emphasized that such opinions require an adequate response at the appropriate level.
He noted: "If such words were spoken by a deputy or a minister, our parliament or government would be obliged to respond. I know that one of the deputies proposed to declare Solovyov a persona non grata. There is a specific procedure for this. We will see how this issue will be addressed."
Furthermore, the press secretary emphasized that Kyrgyzstan's relations with Russia and other Central Asian countries are at a high level.
He added: "Therefore, any such proposals have no basis. Nevertheless, considering that Vladimir Solovyov works for a state channel, his unclear comments can provoke tension between nations or at least create misunderstandings. Therefore, a strict response is necessary. We expect his leadership to take appropriate measures," Alagozov stated.
Recall that on air, Solovyov expressed the opinion that Russia should act like the USA in Venezuela, ignoring international law and considering the possibility of conducting a military operation in its spheres of influence.
