The presidential administration responded to the scandalous statement by Vladimir Solovyov
Alagozov noted: "Such statements should be regarded as something unserious, related to lengthy programs where various topics are discussed."
In response to possible measures, the press secretary indicated that since Solovyov is a journalist, the reaction to his words would come from the journalistic community or other interested parties. "If such comments were made by officials, such as deputies or ministers, the response could be more formal," he added. Alagozov also mentioned a proposal from one of the deputies to declare Solovyov a persona non grata, emphasizing the existence of a corresponding procedure for this. "Let's see how events will unfold," he said.
The press secretary reminded of the high level of bilateral and multilateral relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as with other Central Asian states. These relations are confirmed by mutual visits and cooperation within organizations such as the CIS, EAEU, and SCO.
In this regard, I believe that any such assumptions are unfounded. In conclusion, Alagozov expressed hope that the host's management would take appropriate measures, as his "unfounded comments, which contribute to tensions between peoples," could lead to misunderstandings among citizens of friendly countries.
