Askhat Alagozov, the press secretary of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, commented on the possible reaction of the authorities to the recent statements made by Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov, which have caused significant public resonance.

According to Alagozov, representatives of various media outlets have recently approached him with the question of whether there will be an official statement from the Kyrgyz authorities in response to Solovyov's words. "I believe it is appropriate to give a general comment on this matter," he added.

He emphasized that such statements should be perceived as something unserious and insignificant, as they come from a person who conducts lengthy television broadcasts on various topics.

Regarding the possible reaction, Alagozov noted that Solovyov, being a journalist and television presenter, does not require an official response from state structures, and only journalists or other interested parties may react to his words.

If similar statements were made by deputies or ministers, it would undoubtedly require a response from the Kyrgyz authorities. Alagozov also mentioned the proposal from one of the deputies to declare Solovyov a persona non grata, noting that there is an established procedure for this, and the issue will be considered.

It is important to emphasize that the current bilateral and multilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia, as well as between Russia and the Central Asian states, are at a high level, which is confirmed by regular visits and cooperation within organizations such as the CIS, EAEU, and SCO.

Alagozov believes that any assumptions about tension are unfounded. Nevertheless, he expressed hope that Solovyov's management will take appropriate measures, considering that his statements may create misunderstandings among the citizens of friendly countries and sometimes require stricter actions.
