According to the Agreement on Cargo Traceability, a new rule for labeling goods using navigation seals will come into effect in the EAEU countries starting February 11. This was announced at a press conference held at the "Kabar" agency by Elimbek Kanybek uulu, head of the EAEU Coordination Department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Elimbek Kanybek uulu noted that the implementation of this system will occur in stages. In the first stage, seals will be applied to goods that are already included in the main list of the agreement, after which an expansion of this list is planned.
The main categories of goods that will be sealed first include sanctioned goods, excise goods (including alcohol and tobacco), as well as certain light industry products.
"We are actively discussing further expansion of the list of goods that will be included in the next batch. But starting February 11, navigation seals will become mandatory for the specified categories," added Elimbek Kanybek uulu.
