Storm Warning: January 29-31, snow avalanches and ice are expected on the roads

According to Kyrgyzhydromet, from January 29 to 31, due to precipitation, avalanches are expected, along with snowdrifts, snow cover, and ice in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the following roads:

- Bishkek—Osh 198-255 km (Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge);

- Karakol—Enilchek 45-90 km (Chon-Ashuu Pass);

- Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya 65-101 km;

- Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash 0-3 km.

When traveling through avalanche-prone sections of the roads, it is necessary to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
