From January 23 to 24, precipitation is expected in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, which may lead to snow avalanches and the formation of snow drifts.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the following areas are most at risk:
- Bishkek — Osh: 121-138 km (Tuo-Ashuu Pass), 198-255 km (Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge);
- Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya: 68-74 km and 86-101 km (Chapchyma Pass);
- Krasnaya Gorka — Ak-Tash: 0-3 km;
- Myrzake — Kara-Kulja — Alayku: 65-110 km;
- Karakol — Enilchek: 45-90 km (Chon-Ashuu Pass);
- Balykchy — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad: 326-349 km (Kok-Art Pass).
