Due to expected precipitation, a storm warning has been issued in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and on certain highways.
According to information from Kyrgyz Hydrometeorology, from January 15 to 18, in areas such as Bishkek-Osh (sections 121-138 km and 198-255 km, passes Too-Ashuu and Ala-Bel), Ala-Buka-Kanysh-Kyya (68-74 km and 86-101 km, Chapchyma pass), as well as on the roads Krasnaya Gorka-Ak-Tash (0-3 km), Myrza-Ake-Kara-Kulja-Alaykuu (65-110 km) and Karakol-Enilchek (45-90 km, Chon-Ashuu pass), avalanches, snow drifts, and icy conditions are expected. Special attention should be paid to the section Balykchy-Kazarman-Jalal-Abad (326-349 km, Kok-Art pass).
When traveling through avalanche-prone areas, drivers are strongly advised to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
