After reviewing the case, the presiding judge decided to change the preventive measure for Mahabat Tajibek kyzy, replacing it with a written undertaking not to leave.
For reference, in January 2024, Mahabat Tajibek kyzy was detained along with ten colleagues from Temirov Live, and they were charged with organizing mass riots. On February 25, 2025, the Supreme Court reviewed the appeal of three of the detainees and upheld the previously issued decisions: Mahabat was sentenced to six years in prison, Azamat Ishenbekov received five years, and Aike Beishikeeva was given three years of probation. Aktilek Kaparov was also sentenced to three years of probation and did not contest this decision. The other seven defendants in the case were acquitted due to lack of evidence of a crime. On March 10, the Supreme Court decided to reconsider the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy.
