Recall that Mahabat was detained in January 2024 along with ten employees of Temirov Live, and they were charged with organizing mass riots. The judicial panel of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan reviewed the appeal of three of the detainees on February 25, 2025, and upheld the verdict: Mahabat Tajibek kyzy received six years of imprisonment, Azamat Ishenbekov received five years, while Aike Beyshekeeva was found guilty but was sentenced to three years of probation. Additionally, the Bishkek City Court sentenced Aktilek Kaparov to three years of probation, which he did not appeal. The other seven participants in the case were acquitted due to lack of evidence of a crime.
On March 10, the Supreme Court decided to re-examine the case of Mahabat Tajibek kyzy.
