A criminal case has been initiated under Article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code.
Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate soon detained the suspects, among whom were previously convicted individuals: B.K. (born in 2000), N.R. (born in 1996), and E.A. (born in 1991), known as pickpockets.
All three were placed in a temporary detention facility.
Additionally, a citizen named N.S. was detained for buying stolen mobile phones. He was found in possession of 9 phones of various models, likely obtained through criminal means.
According to law enforcement agencies, the criminals used a rented car to commit thefts from unlocked vehicles.
At present, their involvement in more than 10 similar crimes has been established.
