According to the provided materials, company employees, abusing their official positions, conspired with a number of affiliated organizations to organize illegal schemes for the sale and distribution of petroleum products (PP).
During the inspection, it was revealed that the aforementioned officials, recognizing the strategic importance of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" and its complete state ownership, failed to fulfill their duties to ensure the effective operation of the enterprise in the interests of society and the state.
"Against the backdrop of rising prices for petroleum products in the country, instead of taking measures to stabilize the situation, they entered into a preliminary conspiracy with unidentified officials of state bodies responsible for oversight in this area. This led to the creation of conditions for the illegal extraction of profits by certain affiliated companies, including tax evasion and other mandatory payments," the press release states.
Based on the collected data, the investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime as defined by the corruption article of the Criminal Code of the KR.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are being conducted with the involvement of specialists from the State Tax Service for a comprehensive and objective investigation of the circumstances of the case and the identification of those responsible, who will be held criminally accountable.
