Investigative activities are being conducted to thoroughly and impartially examine all aspects of the case.
Recent video materials published in the press contain the results of an investigation by the State Tax Service, titled "Oil for Oneself: How Kyrgyzneftegaz Was Ruined." These materials discuss possible illegal actions by officials of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz," as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the collected data, company employees, abusing their position and acting in collusion with affiliated enterprises, created illegal schemes for the sale and distribution of fuel and lubricants.
The inspection revealed that, being aware of the status of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" as a strategic facility in state ownership and understanding their responsibilities to ensure its effective operation in the public interest, officials acted contrary to these obligations.
"Against the backdrop of rising prices for fuel and lubricants in the country, instead of taking steps to stabilize the situation, they entered into a preliminary conspiracy with unidentified representatives of state bodies controlling this sector. This led to the creation of favorable conditions for the activities of certain affiliated companies, ensuring illegal material gain, including tax evasion and other mandatory contributions," the official statement said.
In this regard, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Article 336 "corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are being carried out aimed at a comprehensive and objective investigation of all circumstances of the case, as well as identifying and holding accountable those responsible.
